“More than a Month Tied Up”: Neighbors Demand Release of Dog Enduring the Rain Without a Roof

That’s exactly what happened when a concerned neighbor in the State of Mexico decided to capture and share the heartbreaking conditions in which a dog was being kept.

The dog, visibly neglected and tied up, was left to endure harsh conditions without food or shelter, even when it rained. The video, shared online, shows the sad and desperate situation of this animal, who had been kept in these inhumane conditions for more than a month. The neighbor who filmed the footage explained: “She has been tied up like this for over a month, they don’t feed her, only giving her a bottle of water, and she spends her time in both the rain and the heat.”

The footage showed the dog alone in what appeared to be the backyard of the home, unable to escape her circumstances. The neighbor emphasized that the dog’s situation remained unchanged even in extreme weather conditions, both hot and rainy.

After the video went viral on social media, outrage spread across the internet, with many demanding that authorities take action to end this clear case of animal cruelty.

In response to the widespread concern, the Environmental Protection Agency of the State of Mexico (PROPAEM) confirmed that they were aware of the situation. However, they refrained from releasing further details about the dog’s condition, citing an ongoing administrative process. They assured the public that updates would be provided through the proper communication channels as the investigation progresses.

While the dog’s fate remains uncertain, the outpouring of support from netizens highlights the power of social media in advocating for the rights and well-being of animals. Hopefully, this case will lead to swift action to ensure the dog’s safety and proper care.
