She was thrown out of a car onto a busy highway, yet despite knowing she had been abandoned, she kept waiting, hoping her owner would come back for her.

She was thrown out of a car onto a busy highway, and despite knowing this, she continued to wait, hoping her owner would come back for her.

She crawled from the middle of the road to the safety of the shoulder. It was clear that she had been discarded from a vehicle, but despite the thousands of people who passed by, no one noticed her. She waited for what felt like an eternity until a kind stranger came to her aid.

Fearful and confused, she didn’t understand why she was there. It seemed as though she was still waiting for the owner who had abandoned her. Thankfully, there were no broken bones or dislocated joints.

Her hip, however, had been injured before, and there were signs of past trauma. While her bloodwork showed some slight irregularities, her liver, kidney levels, and other key tests all came back normal.

Her body was shaved and treated with medicated shampoo.

With the help of her rescuers, she began to regain her strength and trust. She has since made a full recovery and is able to walk again. We are so grateful for the outpouring of help and donations that contributed to saving her life.
